Wedding Quilt for Hannah and Stephen

Hannah said she likes dark solids, so I chose these chambrays and solids in blues and purples, then added some Lotta Landsdotter prints to lighten it all up.  The back is french shirting fabric and double gauze.  The wonky crosses were echoed in the quilting, which is a giant wonky cross centered then quilted out to the corners.

  1. That’s just gorgeous, Anne! I finished a quilt yesterday. It’s also a wedding gift. I finished with 23 hours to spare. That’s a first for me! I’ll send photos once I have a chance to upload them.

  2. Thanks so much! I finally gave in and got a new Janome with a much bigger throat and more power – after 20 years. Made a big difference. I have another quilt just started. Can’t wait to see yours!
