A new quilt for Mom

Mom found some very old Italian silk she hadn’t used. I took it for a quilt front and back. FYI, no matter how you baste it, silk slips all over the place when it is on both the front and back of a quilt, stretches, and dances.  I tore out so many stitches that my seam ripper dulled!  ARGH!
